2025 Umpire CI (UCI) Umpiring Fundamentals. Live Online Umpire Training.

Multiple (3ea) 2-hour online sessions with a mix of fundamentals and advanced training for 1-Person umpiring assignments. All sessions are *recorded* in case you register and cannot attend.

Key Concepts: Positioning, Pre-Pitch Planning & Situational Awareness, Timing, Mechanics, Professionalism, Rules Knowledge – Interpretation – and Application, with an attitude and mindset to seek Continuous Improvement.

New Umpires: It is critical to learn the foundational building blocks of officiating baseball to get your umpiring career off to a healthy start.

Experienced Umpires: Use this training to get your mind prepared for the upcoming season. Learn new rule changes and points of emphasis, refresh best positioning and mechanics skills, pick up advanced tips, engage with your fellow new and experienced umpires as we prepare to hit the fields in Spring!
